I am making this bold statement because it's true. The idea of igbos leaving Nigeria makes other groups start planning their own exit. When you ask those who insist on one Nigeria if they are willing to fight to keep Hausa Fulani if they decide to leave, they say no BUT an Igbo man says referendum, the same people start screaming get ready for war. IPOB has realized this twisted logic and that's why they are exploiting it. They are indirectly showing igbos the real power that they have in Nigeria. That they are the key to Nigerian unity. Their presence or absence will shape the destiny of everyone else in it. 5 Likes 1 Share |
