Last Wednesday, Nigeria’s upper legislative arm led by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki passed a bill that slashed the age requirements for political office holders in Nigeria to create rooms for youthful exploitation of political offices in Nigeria. The move Entertained mixed reactions from the general public with many showing admiration for the popular #NotTooYoungToRun to run bill. Yesterday, the Senate President met with some of the campaigners in Ilorin and he shared a group picture with the #NotTooYoungToRun team on his Twitter page. Twitter trollers won’t let this go without calling the Senate chief out. Many opinionated that the bill is a move by the very shrewd political icon to install his son as the Governor of his state (Kwara).
