Group to stage sit-out at Abuja House in London, Nigeria to demand Buhari’s return.

Some Concerned Nigerians, both in Nigeria and in London, have said that they would stage a daily sit-out in Nigeria and at the Abuja House in London where President Muhammadu Buhari is currently staying to demand that the president returns to Nigeria and continue his presidential duties or that he resigns if his health would not permit him to continue his mandate of leading Nigeria to the promised land of economic development and security of the country.

The coalition of Concerned Nigerians who, in a statement, said the sit-out protests would hold simultaneously in Nigeria and London on August 7th.

According to a statement by the group, “You would recall that the president has been away from the country on a medical trip to the United Kingdom since May 7th, 2017.
“n In line with the provisions of Section 40 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which guarantees the right to peaceful assembly, and in exercise of that right, we have therefore, written a letter to the Police and other relevant security agencies requesting for protection as we exercise our fundamental right as enshrined in the constitution.

“All participants are expected to be at the venue before 0900am in Abuja and 11am in London to demand for President Muhammadu Buhari’s return to Nigeria and to office or his resignation on the ground of incapacity to execute his functions as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“We are inviting the general public, members of the press and Civil Society Organizations to our peaceful Daily Sit-Out that is scheduled to take place as follows; August 7th, 0900am at the Unity Fountain Abuja and August 7th, 11am at the Abuja House, London, United Kingdom.”

They should allow the man treat himself well joor..

They should rather be protesting for his resignation.

Leaving London won't solve even 5% of the current challenges in Nigeria.

Am not an apc member, neither do i sympathise with them,
but, if power has been transmitted to someone else, thereby ensuring no lacuna, why then do we keep disturbing ourselves over Buhari.
We are only giving him reasons to contest 2019,
because, he will tell you he would have done more if not for his health, thereby ignoring the fact that his deputy(a legitimate member of his team) acted in his place.
