It is glaring that Biafra failed in 1967-1970 because many people believed that achieving a United, Strong and Self-reliant nation was possible but the reality of the present day Nigeria bears witness to the fact that it was a mere wishful thinking. Given the the incompetent and self-seeking despots leading the country.

It must be stated from the outset that Nigeria can never progress beyond the desire to maintain Peace and Unity which we all know is a mirage because of mutual suspicion that permeates all levels of government. I fear to admit it but it is nearer than ever. The tidal waves of Biafra is about to obliterate the incompetent leaders of Nigeria into the dustbin of history. If after about five decades, the Biafrans are still bent on self-determination and more than determined to secede, then the Nigerian Bonapartes should be prepared for loo.

Though, Nigeria has too many lawless leaders whom law must respect but the people are really tired. I will never blame Kanu again. Like Charly Boy said, "Our mumu don do. Life is too precious to be wasted. Why should the lives of the masses be too worthless to be protected?

After an objective look, I believe the realisation of Biafra is a step away from uncertainty, retrogression and death. Gowon would definitely be regretting that he kept the pieces together with many people's lives and blood; only to be scattered by incompetent despots
