Whoever did this should be accountable. We want to know if he was defending himself or just hunting for any animal. And it's a pity for those who will have the heart to eat this after seeing it butchered.

We really need reorientation in dis country........ Killing a wildlife habitat like that should be considered a crime. NAS should enact this in the constitution.

He who Eats that Gorilla, Can eat human meat also.

That is a Chimpanzee an endangered species. Very bad when most zoo in Nigeria don't even have it. We are destroying wildlife just because of meat. May you guys eat meat that will kill you one day.

Guys this is Nigeria and that is a very wild beast. There are no facilities to protect, capture or control these beasts and they can become threats to humans. Recall that there was recent report of a wild being that's eating dogs and livestock in delta. The hunters are not trained to capture animals and this beast u see can easily kill ten unarmed men. Eating it though is classic barbaric.

That is a chimpanzee and not a Gorilla. If it were a Gorilla as the OP asserted, i'll agree with your point. Chimpanzees are not carnivorous in nature and are less volatile. The worst it can do during a capture is to struggle but not kill.

I think a campaign for pro-conservatism should be done across Nigeria. every day one animal is being killed and slaughtered with the hashtag#soupdonready!
