What of those money kept away in the other rooms and locked up water tankers?

What did they do to deserve N1.1m every month? when other hardworking Nigerians

are on N18k wage monthly...

See the so called house with empty seats during most of their plenary...

shame!

Cash crunch? They are complaining of money to travel to their 'constituencies' ,they should ask civil servants who are being owed several months salaries. They hardly have money to feed their families.

It shall not be well with OBJ for introducing constituency 'projects' just to make the boys happy.

Nigeria is the only country where lawmakers carry out projects.

Until the cost of government is reduced,Nigeria will not work.

And it should start by implementing part-time legislatures. Some states in the US do it.

The cost of the govt in Nigeria is so high that by the time you've finished paying almost everyone's salary there is almost no money left for anything tangible. We have waaaaaay too many states and local govt in the first place.

If only they can amend and stop all these constituency funds, as lawmakers they should be concerned with only making laws and be paid based on monthly salary and maybe sitting allowance. We should focus on the executives(state and federal governments) to provide basic amenities. All these constituency funds, they will end up eating them alone and just buy keke napep or buy jamb forms for a few individuals and pocket the rest

What's constituency funds by the way?

But that's supposed to be the job of the governor's, not the house of rep members. The job of law makers is to pass laws duh!!!
