A laptop, often called a notebook or "notebook computer", according to Wikipedia; ‘is a small, portable personal computer with a "clamshell" form factor, an alphanumeric keyboard on the lower part of the "clamshell" and a thin LCD or LED computer screen on the upper portion, which is opened up to use the computer’.

Laptops are commonly used for variety of works, such as graphics design, programming, Disc jockey (DJ) useful in education area, in playing games, Internet surfing, for personal multimedia and general home computer use, the usefulness of laptops cannot be overemphasize in the business world as it is one of the engine room for sustaining a business these days.

There are various brands of laptops starting with Hp, Acer, Dell, Lenovo, Samsung just to name few.

In this post I will be discussing the usefulness of laptop to students and reason each of them should get one.

Assignment

It is number one on the list because every student is familiar with assignment. Almost all teachers/lecturers give one or two assignments to students to submit. Some assignments may be tough and would require a thorough research for it, and in that case, student would need a laptop to do the assignments. Therefore, I implore all students to have a laptop.

Easy access to information

You can get the information about anything around the world. You can watch the videos of different countries. There are the many websites that provide easy access to information, film and event videos of the world. As they say, he who is not informed will be deformed.
