Best advice, Create your own path and develop uniqueness in ur design rather than following someone else's.

It doesn't look like other people's blog right? That's because your blog is a free blog. You cannot use more than the free themes associated with that free blog. For your blog to look like other blogs, or look better, you need to purchase a domain name and host from WordPress and BlueHost, etc, or you pay a developer money to build one for you.

People will visit your blog to read your content not the design.
