METROSuspect who attacked Buckingham Palace shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ – PolicePublished on August 27, 2017 By Fikayo Olowolagba

A terror attack was foiled after a 26-year-old man reached for a 4ft sword while shouting “Allahu Akbar” outside Buckingham Palace.

The suspect, being held at a London station, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and assault on police under the Terrorism Act 2000.

The attack happened around 8.30pm on Friday when the man from the Luton area in a blue Toyota Prius “deliberately drove” at a police van and stopped in front of it in a restricted area on Constitution Hill.

Commander Dean Haydon of the Met’s counter-terrorism branch, confirming the attack said: “A blue Toyota Prius deliberately drove at a marked police vehicle and stopped in front of it.

“Uniformed officers then confronted the driver of the vehicle and during that confrontation the driver reached for a four-foot sword that was in the passenger footwell.

“CS gas was used as part of the arrest and during the struggle the individual repeatedly shouted the words Allahu Akbar.”

“Officers from the Counter Terrorism Command are now investigating and searches are being carried out in the Luton area today.

“We believe the man was acting alone and we are not looking for other suspects at this stage.

“While we cannot speculate on what the man was intending to do – this will be determined during the course of the investigation – it is only right that we investigate this as a terrorist incident at this time.”

Commander Haydon added that the incident was a “timely reminder” that the national terror threat level is severe, meaning further attacks are considered highly likely in the UK.

“The police, together with the security services, are doing everything we can to protect the public and we already have an enhanced policing plan over the bank holiday weekend to keep the public safe.

“We continue to urge the public to be alert but not alarmed and report anything suspicious”.

The official further praised the “bravery and professionalism” of the officers on duty, adding that: “Their vigilance, courage and the swiftness of their response demonstrates how our officers are protecting the public.

The entire Europe never see anything sef!

Europe especially Germany will see more of this terrorist attacks in the future since they absorb these Moslems into their country.

Their fellow moslem countries of Saudi,Jordan,Egypt etc are strict and don't even allow migrants the way European countries do.

Very soon Moslems will over run the entire European continent and impose sharia law.
