I have my database built on Microsoft Access, i want to limit the use of the database, by blocking it from opening after a particular date, i do not seem to be getting the VBA code to run. Can someone help me on how to achieve this?

Simply put, i want to give my database to another person by copying to his system, but i don't want him to have access to it beyond a particular date, how do i do the coding?

what does the database process? If I know, I may be able to give an option. Though I have been using Access for over six year for developing applications, I have not controlled it s opening with vba codes.

However, if there are formulas in your vba codes, you can make data processing within the database return undesirable results after the given date. using the a conditional if, you can condition formulas to return zeros after a given date so that the database will be useless for processing whatever it processes.
