The First colum is the amount deducted due to debts, while the second colum is the actual amount each state government received.

you can use this to assess the performance of your state Governor.
Governors should be rated base on the resources avalaible, and how well they have applied the income to better the lives of their people. Because there are Governors with lower allocations that are performing very well but because they are not building flyovers and bridges, sadly nobody talks about them.

This is actually very small to run a state

Imagine my state imo with over 3million people with 17bn in 6 months ??

If every individual is taxed 5k a month that's 15bn every month and with that we will get our desired development and we will have reason to hold our governors accountable

But no we decide to spend far more to achieve nothing

A typical car owner in Nigeria will spend 400k a years averagely to maintain his cars

But as him to pay a tax of 10k a month for road maintaince that will save his car he will protest

We have over 11 million cars in Nigeria ...if on average each pays 10k every month that's 110bm that's over 1.2 trillion on road maintaince

Say federal government takes 30% and states 70% of what you contribute tell me why we would have bad roads

So, what business do some of the rich states have with owing salaries?

Bayelsa, is a typical example of a FAILED STATE if we compare her level of development to her income.

Is this also as a result of FG or failure to restructure?

What do you mean?

What is the wage bill of Akwa Ibom, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa and many others with very high allocation?

Keep looking for excuse for failure of those states.

That assumes the states' IGR, royalties, and any other revenue source are non existent.

Are the 3million you want to tax working? or you want to tax unemployed people?

Osun state comes to my mind, the Governor is really a magician. He has defiles all odds to remain relevant among performing governors.

Is it not an indictment on the federal govt that they continue releasing state allocations and bail out funds to governors who do not put to effective use of the monies, why will a state in Nigeria continue owning salaries with so much funds at their disposal, and this will continue for Eight good years yet this charlatans claim to be fighting corruption.

How about state of osun with over 80% income deducted? If Bayelsa is a failed state what do we call state of osun? Afonjas and hypocrisy, propaganda, being silly, mischief are 5 and 6

Akwa ibom should buy Osun and use it for farm land, it is obvious what Uduanghan and Okowa have done to Delta state putting the state in huge debt! Shame.

I must commend Jigawa state!! Well done

Aregbesola has destroyed and grounded Osun State .
May the Almighty God rescue the State from this destroyer.
Honestly restructuring should focus on more POWER to the Local Government and not these states.
