Angelanest:
NEMA has received another batch of 121 stranded Nigerians in Libya who have been assisted by IMO after each of the Returnees have individually expressed interest to voluntarily return to Nigeria. The Zonal Coordinator of NEMA Southwest, Suleiman Yakubu who received them on behalf of FG enjoined them to learn from the unpleasant experiences in the course of their sojourn to turn to a better life henceforth.

On arrival, the profiling of the Returnees indicate that there are 60 female adults and one girl while male adults are 57 with two male children and a male infant. With total as 61 females and 60 males.

Amongst were 2 pregnant women and 1 medical issues.

The nouvelair flight with Registration number TS-INA and SA320 arrived MMIA at 5:30 p.m.

One of the Returnee, Owoade Omolara who hails from Apomu, Osun State claimed that she spent 1 year and 2 months claimed that she worked as a cleaner in a hospital and when it was time for her to collect her salary, she was accused of stealing and taken to prison and from there IMO came to her rescue. She said she 662, 000 naira before she was taken out by a trafficker (burger) and she vowed that she will get her money from Kemi who is her trafficker as she came back.

She narrated that many Nigerians are suffering same fate.

Iyabo Abiola from Oyo State lamented falling victim to the deceitful talks of the traffickers who deceived her with a promise of $4,000 a month and she vowed that she would expose the trafficker usually called burger.

Agencies who were present with NEMA were Naptip, Police, Immigration and Faan..

A country with a functional government will quarantine these returnees to ensure they do not bring in HIV, Herpes, or other STD's, communicable diseases like Tuberculosis etc, oh no... NEMA will allow them mix up with the population and infect innocent people with arabian morbidity. I dey shame for Nigeria!

So you don't know that your SE ashewos wear hijab when going to Arab countries for Ashewo job?

Even in Kano and Abuja they wear hijab to attract customers.

Remember this story:

Seven girls using hijab to disguise themselves and evade arrest were among the 12 persons intercepted by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in Katsina on their way to Europe.

This brings the total number of persons apprehended by the NIS to 40 in the last four months as they tried to cross various legal and illegal routes to Agadez in Niger Republic en route Libya then Europe.

While parading the rescued victims, the Comptroller of Immigration in the state, Mohammed Yaro Rabiu, said the hijab was a decoy intended to camouflage and get easy passage at the border.

“All the rescued victims are Nigerians from Edo State and will be handed over to NAPTIP for further action,” he said.

The victims are Dennis Igbobo, Elvis Osas, Earnest Ugiagbe, Bright John, Lucky Iyare, Gift Osagie, Godday Ruth, Ovioma Gift, Otoboh Fabour, Believe James, Endurance Idemadia and Marian Josiah.

All you ranting and showing your displeasure about the Nigerian situation are still the same people that would hail corrupt politicians, and become blind loyalist in the face of oppression and massive corruption. We fight with one another here on Nairaland and call ourselves names but cannot unite to form one voice to speak against bad governance. We Blind ours eyes to the ills of our political leaders from the same party and fight fellow Nigerians that are in the same situation as you.

You guys don't have any right to apportion blame to anybody. We all deserve the leaders that we have because we are just like them. The only difference is the position they occupy and I bet that if we were to find ourselves in that same political space and position as them, our languages will change against the people that have been hoping on us. We will finally join other bunches of political sycophants that have been chocking our political space in recent times.

All Nigerians need to change their way of thinking..where you think that doing things through a short cut is the way to go..expecting gratuity from where you did not sow; seeing the crime of a man from another tribe as crime but would turn your heard the other way when your ethnic person is involve..we are a sick nation. seeing your self and your ethnic group as more superior than others..this things has to stop from the grass root.

What's the difference? The only difference is that you exclude them ( Edo) from your cocaine courier business.
