A statement yesterday by the Chairman of the group, Prof. Ben Nwabueze, said restructuring would not meaningfully be done by amendment to the existing 1999 Constitution, and therefore proposed a new constitution to be adopted by the people through a referendum. And northern leaders will say no to a new constitution. Those that are being short changed will say 'aye', while those benefitting from the current setup will say 'nay'. |

Quick and sure way to make Arewa accept restricting. Niger Delta, Oduduwa and Middle Belt will separately be holding rallies for their independence just like Biafra. Arewa will quickly call for a conference on restructuring. |
