No be today we start to call police on top criminal activities, but the problem is that they always arrive late.
Better late than never, very ironic that people in the U.S. Complain that the police always arrive late and I tell them to come to Nigeria and really see what late is.

The funny thing is, none of these great nations woke uo one day and became successful. what most people fail to understand is that America is over 230 years old as a nation. At similar period as Nigeria was today corruption in the US surpasses Nigeria as it stands today. But I agree we should get it right. But to simply condemn every single effort to fix the issues is not only disgraceful it is downright unpatriotic.

Few educational information for all the critics of the Hawk Eye App.

1. Please search for: Hawk Eye Nigeria on Google play and oyu will find the app. Before posting incorrect infromation please be sure what you are posting.

2. The system was developed and donated for Nigeria Police by fellow Nigerian like all of us with their own monies.

Build solar powered command and control conters
Donated mobile device terminal for all patrol vehicles so officers can be monitors
Provide free app download for all Nigerians

Microsoft provided:
Facial Recognition technology
KPI Key Performance Indicator to help monitor performance and response to crime by officers.

The system for the first time in the History of Nigeria police provide visibility across chain of command. Meaning every crime reported is seen and monitored all the way from division, area and state command all the way to Force HQ. Meaning officers can no longer fail to show up without someone knowing or arrest people without someone knowing.

Oyinbo will not come to fix Nigeria rather they will continue to bribe our politicians and rob us blind. We are the ones that can fix our country. Do your home work like I did before posting negative comments. Give credit where it is due and criticize when you must. There are already alot of information on this on the internet

So for those who just talk, criticize and do nothing keep doing it. For those who are serious about changing the country we need more things like Hawk Eye.

I don't know why the institution called Nigeria police keep deceiving themselves. You will count 1 before u count 10. Common emergency number they can't afford .they want an app that requires constant updates and internet to function proper. They don't have the will power and resources to handle that.

It is a good idea! However, response time and professionalism should first be sorted out.

They should launch apps to cub the cause of poverty which reproduces crime in the first place. I hardly see a child whose dream is to become a kidnapper, but I see a people whose future has been destroyed by the country.

naijanewspaper:
The Nigeria Police Force has inaugurated a mobile app, iPolice-Hawk Eye Crime Reporting System to curb kidnapping.

Representative of the FCT Commissioner of Police, DCP Arungwa Nwazue said the police were partnering with leading technology firms while speaking in Abuja on Thursday.

The Hawk Eye Mobile App allows users to report crimes anonymously to the police by video, voice or text.

“The inauguration of the mobile app is in line with the collaborative approach to security and policing that is gaining ground across the world,” he noted.

Also speaking, the developer of the app and Managing Director, Web Assets, Kayode Aladesuyi said, “Hawk Eye is a revolutionary technology because of the enterprise tools it provides police to respond, address and manage crimes as soon as they are reported,” he stated.

The app is available in English and Nigeria languages and could be downloaded from various mobile platforms.

Very sweet to analyse based on theory.

First of all, how many people in a time of emergency would think of switching on data, wait for sync process to complete, before beginning the upload process?
Except the app wasn't built for emergency... Which is (emergency) actually the primary reason we need them in the first place. Investigation is their job, yea we can help provide data... Buh don't ship that responsibility to us.

Let them first get a national emergency number.

So you think everyone switch their data off and on like you?
. Yes national emergency will be a good one, how did you conclude that voice cannot be down just as data can be down? By the way of data is so bad how are you here, how are Nigerians dominating facebook and whatsapp? Voice can go bad just as data. So what is your point In case you have not noticed, everywhere ins the world emergency number is becoming outdated. The key to solving crime is video. Why do you think CCTV is installed everywhere now? How do you think all these crime reports are popping up on social media. Its amazing how it looks good when it is done elsewhere but in Nigeria. how were 911 hijackers identified? Terrorists in France, Uk. Wake up man. The worst thing about Nigerians is they complain there is nothing then they complain about anything you try to do. Thats why the politicians don;t care about you.

That is the problem, everybody complain from the comfort of their chair. Nobody get up to do something and those are the first one to criticize anyone who try to make a difference. The only yeye wey they smell naim be the people wey they sidown they complain bit go fit do nothing

The device in the patrol vehicle can tell if the device has network or not, it also monitor the battery level.

Please do some home work now before criticizing something you know nothing about. Do we have nay educated person on this board? It van also report if police respond to crime reported or not. It allow all command units from DPO to Force HQro see how police are performing at the street level.

The system is more advanced than anything used in Europe or US.

The group on this board is why the country will never grow they already killing the innovation before they event tried it
