All is set as Foundation for Economic Advancement Advocacy hosts the 5th Nigeria Advancement Awards on Friday November 4th 2017. In a statement made by the Executive Secretary of the Foundation, Mrs Ifekam Uwabor, stated that the 5th edition of the awards is dedicated to STRENGTHENING NIGERIA’S DEMOCRATIC FRAMEWORK, with emphasis on the role of government, institutions and citizens.

Also speaking at the press briefing in Abuja, the
chairman award screening committee, Barr Mike Mahmoud Bello hinted that the 5th edition of the awards ceremony will be well attended by government officials, dignitaries, distinguished personalities, community and various interest groups across the nation to discuss plausible solutions to strengthening Nigeria’s democratic framework. He also noted that the awards ceremony will be exciting and thrilling as a wide range of guest artiste and performances has been lined up to spice up the arena.

In her words, Mrs Ifekam Uwabor noted that “Nigeria Advancement Awards is the biggest and most subscribed private sector awards platform in Nigeria that celebrates and rewards excellence and significant accomplishments of the private and public sector contributing to the growth of the nation due to the stringent and transparent measures and modalities of nominating and conferment of awards on recipients.

The awards will recognize individuals and corporate organizations contributing to the Nigeria’s GDP and economic sustainability by way of creating job opportunities and empowerment programs for youths and women.
In celebration of the 5th edition of the Summit & Awards, we have carefully chosen a theme that resonates with the unique realities of the burden of governance facing our Nation.

The theme will be discussed by a group of speakers and panelists with cognate experience from various sectors of our Nation. They will present papers and also share experiences which will help in articulating a communiqué to be issued at the end of the summit. Participants will be allowed to engage directly with the speakers through a Q & A session which will be moderated and chaired by technocrats.
