The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has reacted to the declaration by the Defence Headquarters that the group is a terrorist organisation.

The group said it was a non-violent movement and that it had never carried arms or killed anyone.

IPOB’s position was made known by Prince Kanu, the younger brother of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu during a chat with newsmen on Friday.
He said: “It is very, very laughable that that is coming from a military intelligence officer. One, IPOB is a non-violent movement.
“We do not carry arms; we’ve never asked anyone to kill for us neither have we killed anyone. If you look at our records, our records are clean and straight.”
“From inception, Nnamdi Kanu made it clear to the whole world that we are non-violent freedom fighters and that is the way it has been,” Prince Kanu said.

Reasons given by the Defence Headquarters for declaring the group a terrorist organisationinclude the formation of a Biafra Secret Service, claimed formation of Biafra National Guard, unauthorised blocking of public access roads; extortion of money from innocent civilians at illegal roadblocks, and militant possession and use of weapons (stones, Molotov cocktails, machetes and broken bottles among others) on a military patrol on September 10, 2017.

The only issue discuss in nigeria today is biafra.

The good for nothing apc government is total failure.

They get nothing right to be discussed.

What a useless set of people. Apc is a curse.

Why is it difficult for them to get things right, I wonder.

Yeah, tell that to your hiding leader who was asking the country to be burnt down and who was training his own secret service in a sovereign nation. And when it was time to walk the talk, he hid himself in his mother's undergarments. The bald fool.
The Nigerian government gave him enough rope to hang himself and he just did.
After coming out of detention, he could have made himself look more like the victim, more like a natural political and freedom activist, instead he started boasting. He started disobeying court injunctions and started walking around like a king and getting his feet kissed by morons. He was enjoying it. Hubris took over. Then he started training his own army. All the while video evidence of his activities were circulating. The idiot forgot there were consequences for stupidity. He even went as far as asking the country to be burnt down on camera. And at the sign of the slightest hostilities, his people started killing innocent civilians from other tribes.
Now he is calling for help from the international community. Unfortunately they don't help villainous morons. They haven't even been to help innocent people. Just ask all the refugees in South Sudan, Myanmar and CAR. Sorry Mr Director, no help is coming for you at this hour.
