He allowed the coronation to take place and only to turn around and sue the government? Maybe smart, maybe not.

But the court will ask him why he was at the event he tagged an illegality.

This Afonja pipo are so useless. How does this change Ibadan from being a overgrown village with dirty brown roof and mud houses everywhere? I am sure even the king lives under brown roof.

Olubadan was never present at the coronation.!!

He made his stand clear on it even before it was done by the governor.

There were cases filed by Ladoja and others ahead of the so called coronation and that was why the coronation was done in a hurry, announced on Friday and done on Sunday to make sure, the court can not issue an interim injunction against it.

In any case, aggrieved parties are allowed to seek redress after an event that tramples on their right collectively and as an individual.

And there was a law on Ibadan rulership which had not been amended appropriately before the so called coronation.!!. The governor acted on a submission of his committee even before going to the state assembly to change the affected law.

I support Olubadan . I don't like how politicians play with traditional institution. But if the coronation event that took place of the main bowl of the stadium was what I saw on bisi olatilo show, then I think I saw olubadan there.

All the town's should have multiple oba..s

Benin city is over due for at least 10 obas..
Ile Ife is over due for 10 ooni of ile Ife...
Ilorin has to have 10 obas.

Cities have to have at least 5 obas..

You cancel the position of olubadan.. if he does to court.

Bolustical:
Olubadan wants to disgrace himself,

Ibadan is just too big for one person to rule,

Even the small Abeokuta (compared to IB) has around 4 Kings or so,

He should just respect himself.

SMH for you.

The whole of the UK has the Queen of England. Ibadan is not bigger than the UK. This is not even a land mass issue, it's rather that of our ancestral, cultural and traditional way of life.

Things have changed ,the king should wake up and learn from what late Ooni of Ife did ..he turned all his chiefs to kings to enlarge his domain..it has political implication and that is what Ajumobi did which is simple logic and wisdom..whoever is advising Baba should forget political alignment and theme up with the governor to develop Ibadan land..if they want to give them state now this is going to form part of the criteria
