Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has expressed the resolve of his administration to recover the resources of the state, looted by previous government. The decision, which he explained was not a ploy to witch hunt anyone, is intended to entrench the culture of transparency and accountable in governance. Governor Bello disclosed this today while inaugurating the newly constituted Seven member committee for the implementation of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry report set up last year to look into how the resources of the state were expended between May 2003 to January 2016. The committee which has a retired army general, Mobolaji Koleoso as Chairman is expected to help track and recover all looted funds and assets of the state.
