The Presidency has threatened to expose the sponsors of the indigenous people of Biafra and it’s making good its threat as the government is said to have instructed the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, NFIU, and the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN to hand over all the details of IPOB’s funding in one comprehensive report which will then be submitted to the French Government.

Recall that the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed had alleged that France was the headquarters of IPOB’s funding. The European country though, has denied the allegation, stating that it has no knowledge of IPOB activities in France.

“We have never accused the French Government of funding IPOB.” a source close to the Presidency disclosed said, “The French Government has reached out to us over the IPOB matter. It said we should give it account details and any other evidence showing that France was where the majority of the money was coming from.

“So, we have accepted that challenge and we will be instructing the NFIU, SCUML and the CBN to hand over all the details of IPOB’s funding.”

However, in a video, which has even gone viral on Youtube, Nnamdi Kanu had appealed to people of Igbo extraction in some of these countries to provide him with funds which would be used in buying weapons and bringing down the Nigerian Government.

Confused Elements Everywhere, I Thought Information Minister Said Pdp Sponsors Them. Now Its Igbos In Diaspora That Is Pulling Funds Together. Are We Not All Confused In This Country? If You Said You Are Not Then You Are Not Truthful. Even Our Information Minister Himself Is Confused Because He Dishes Information Out To Us Without Separating Facts From Imagenation. Information Minister Is Our Only Link To Know Activities Of Govt, If He Is Confuse On Information Disemination, We The Receivers Of The Information Are As Well Confused. OVER AND OUT.

I am sure French and UK govt will be surprised at the increasing desperation of nig govt. France only assumes that the accusation is about them funding Ipob and not Biafrans in France. once fg cant prove that the French govt is funding ipob this noise will only bring more shame to Nigeria and international recognition for Ipob. France have laws and won't block account of people funding ipob unless the country recognizes Ipob as a so called terrorist group. of course they don't and won't be stampeded into doing that.
