Liverpool needs all three point to stand a good chance of snatching the last of the big four places. With barely ten games left in the season time is fast running out for them. With players returning from Injury fortune might indeed smile for the scousers.

Rampant Rafa knows the UEFA cup though is his last chance of silverware this season. With his history of respectable displays in europe there is a risk of taking his teams eye ofF the ball in the chase for top spot. What Liverpool desperately nees though is a return from Injury and back to form for their clinical finisher of a striker fernando torres. That would be their final piece in the jigsaw of a season they have endured so far.

Wigan have had a turbulent season themselves. From a brilliant win against the blues earlier in the season to s disgraceful loss to spurs a few weeks later. What team turns out for wigan is a question for the fortune tellers to answer.

1)Torres was leggy and moaning like a naughty woman all game but the captain, Gerrard, was fuckin useless all game. No impression on the game whatsoever and his passing was only a rizla papers width better than Kuyts. [/b]Couple with that, the back 4 looked all out of sorts again, much to do with the pace up front for wigan and the utter lack of it at the back for us.

2)I can't remember Kirkland having a save to make.
[b]I think Gerrard needs to buck his ideas up, he's meant to be leading and motivating this team on the pitch and he's just not doing it. At all.
That was pretty poor because Wigan were absolutely dreadful. 6 Monday night games without a win now.

Gerrard was fuckin tripe tonight, much much worse than kuyt, who at least tried to make something happen.
It amazes me how you can pick out Kuyt and miss how fuckin woeful gerrard was.
Its about time people saw what has happened this season and it's that Carra and Gerrard have both been found out as the limited players they are.

No use being able to score from 35 yards out when the whole flow of the team breaks down around you because you cannot pass the ball simply or make good runs. Gerrard has no football nous about him, not an ounce, headless chicken who happens to have good technique, and we Liverpool fans claim he is one of the best in the world ,fucck me but Lucas can run the midfield 10 times better with his eyes closed than Gerrard.
Get rid of them both this summer and bring in someone who can read the game from the back and midfield.

Am I the only one who thinks Gerrard has become too fuckin big for his boots and has far too much influence in the dressing room?
Didn't Mr Alex Ferguson have similar situations with Ince and Beckham and he wasted no time in shipping those two out the club and showing the team who called the shots.
I may be wrong but I feel Rafa or whoever is in charge next season may have to ship Gerrard out for the good of the club at the end of the season.


When Rafa joined, he got it right instantly in sticking Gerrard on the right in a roaming role.
