one Wonders whether Nigerian Goverment officials are deliberately being overtly hypocritical and barefaced liars. If the unity of Nigeria is not Negotiable as we are being lied to, how come Cameroon was Negotiated away, with their indigenes displaced without a gun shot by the same folks who were entitled with the responsibility of ensuring the Unity of Nigeria. Please discuss, no tantrums 11 Likes 1 Share |

How does non negotiable unity = non negotiable territory If a court ruling finally says a disputed Bakassi belongs to Cameroon, then it was never Nigeria's territory in the first place. Hence no unity was in fact negotiated. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Rawani: Really so Nigerian APC Government now obeys International court orders even when it has to do with giving away an oil rich penisular but when it has to do with giving unarmed protesters bail then the rescind on the court orders. Anyway if Nigeria Obeyed a court order that gave away Oil rich Bakassi Penisular to cameroon then why do they go around foooling themselves that the Unity of the country is not negotiable. Please see below references to know if the APC Government officials are the dirtiest type of liars that ever lived The Cameroon and Nigeria Negotiation Process over the Contested Oil rich Bakassi Peninsula http://www.japss.org/upload/10._Nicholas[1].pdf Cameroon Rules Out Negotiation With Nigeria Over Bakassi http://www.panapress.com/Cameroon-Rules-Out-Negotiation-With-Nigeria-Over-Bakassi--13-466814-17-lang1-index.html Finally, Nigeria concedes Bakassi to Cameroon https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/102959-finally-nigeria-concedes-bakassi-to-cameroon.html Again i put it to the present APC officials that foooled more than 100 Milion People into office that saying Nigeria's Unity is not negotiable is tha worst Lie from the deepest pit of Hell 9 Likes 2 Shares |

kettykin:And what is the point trying to be proven here? Are Bakassi Peninsula, a disputed territory between two sovereign states (Nigeria and Cameroun) and Biafra, a part of a sovereign state the same thing? 3 Likes |
Re: If Nigeria Unity Is No Negotiable ,then What Is Bakassi Still Doing In Cameroon by Throwback: 3:03pm On Sep 27, 2017 |
The colonial forces that gave you what is Nigeria could not show any documentary evidence that Bakassi is part of Nigeria or British Empire, while Cameroun could show through its own colonial French empire that it owned Bakassi. Is that detail too difficult for you to comprehend? Or you rather prefer the beer parlour gist that cameroun was gifted Bakassi by Gowon to help defeat Biafra? If you prefer the beer parlour gist, was that gift tale entered into evidence at the world court for consideration before the court gave judgement? 2 Likes |

Tolexander: So Bakassi was now never a part of Cross River state ? and if Nigeria concedes an oil Rich Penisular to a neighbor then Nigeria's case is even more irredeamable There are more than 100 disputed territories in the world today like Kashmir, Golan heights , periji island etc Only bakassi was handed over without a gun shot 5 Likes 1 Share |

That term "The unity of Nigeria is non negotiable" is what dictstors use. Every union is negotiable, if it isnt, then one party will end up holding another hostage.............and the resultant effect will not be good |

Tolexander: When the Government officials were going about with the spurios claims that Nigeria's unity is not Negtiable ,did they claim that they can only Negotiate the unity with a sovereign country ? The same country some few months ago sent military troops to go and force a sitting president of Gambia Jammeh out of office in Gambia but could not muster even a detachment of civil defence to safeguard the lives of Cross River indigenes murdered by cameroon soldiers 4 Likes |

Cant you guys give this a rest and focus being something reasonable for your family and future kids? what annoys me is when young guys go out and cause mayhem and put their lives in harms way for some useless politicians. if you think this baifra agitation is not political, then you are not very bright. pls for the sake that i have known and met very good ibo brothers, am talking to you as a brother that is going the wrong way, "go and do something reasonable with your life". 1 Like |

kettykin:You still need much orientation on Diplomacy and sovereignty of a nation! Nigeria sent troops to the Gambia to oust Jammah Yahya, under the ECOWAS military intervention in the Gambia. Nigeria could not send any military troop to Bakassi cos it doesn't belong to Nigeria and Nigeria must respect the sovereignty of Cameroun. The honorable things Nigeria could do are; to withdraw her citizens from Bakassi or Negotiate the dwelling of the Nigerian citizens in Bakassi Peninsula peacefully which doesn't belong to Nigerian territory. 2 Likes |
