I learnt from Ola Rotimi's play that a butterfly should not think itself a bird. US has openly said IPOB is not a terrorist group in US laws. Why all the irrelevant noise? Most developing countries imitate US laws and democracy. If Nigerian laws are opposed to basic human rights to lawful agitations and self-determination which US laws protect, Lai Mohamed should simply tell us and stop unnecessary rigmarole. When proven wrong the wise keeps quiet and learns but the ignorant continues ranting. We should not test the patience of US, EU and others in compelling Nigeria to conduct referendum on Biafra. Renting protesters to EU/US embassy is a demonstration of huge ignorance of international laws, imperviousness to well-informed advice and disrespect for other countries' opinions. It constitutes insults to them. US as a world power doesn't go back on her words rather she enforces them. We should know our limits in the use of propaganda please. We should stop washing our dirty linens in the public and be remorseful of our ignorance or a feign of it. Insisting that unarmed protesters are terrorists is foolishness. It makes it look like APC is praying for more terrorist groups when the one in the Northeast has not been defeated.
