Breaking News: Saraki Must Go Peaceful Protest Ongoing In Ilorin by Callmedondee(m): 5:26pm On Oct 04, 2017
Today I led a protest against bad Governance, poverty, hunger, enslavement and politics of bitterness as practiced by
Kwárà state government.

Our positions include that
1. The Kwara State of Government should stop the denial of the menace of Yellow Fever, Lassa fever and Cholera in kwara and act responsibly
2.The government should come out and tell us the true status of IVTEC at Ajase-ipo as the institution as been tagged an NGO by the state government (another shonga in the waiting)
3. This administration should tell us what has happened to water reticulation since 2003
4.what is responsible for the retrogressive and downtrodden performance Kwara in WAEC.
5. Payment of pensions to pensioners as our parent should are dying of hunger
6. That the 'arrangee' payment of bursaries to Unilorin students during vacation period is a scam.
7. That the proposed 60 Million dollar loan(22 billion naira) from world bank is an attempt to put the unborn under Perpetual enslavement
8. That there must be free and fair elections and every votes must count in the coming Kwara Local Govt election on Nov. 18, 2017.
9.Kwara state should tell us the state of our much celebrated, ultra modern, multi-million naira Asphalt plant purchased few months. We need to know if it's another scam as our road are full or well-holes and not just pot-holes (come to Tanke)

In all, Kwarans are saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

The protest was well organised and received by patriotic citizens of Kwara State. People from the 16 Local Government came out to support us and say no to this government.

The procession started from the Stadium gate up to Unity Roundabout where Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo, Mall. Omar Aiyelabegan and Gbadeyan Olawale James addressed reporters and protesters.

The interesting side to it is that protesters that gathered since 9.30am refuse to disperse as at the time of writing this report.

Men of the Nigeria Police Force displayed uncommon level of professionalism.

We thank you all as we together reclaim our state. The process is for sure living and unstoppable.

Am really glad that we young Kwarians are beginning to wake up from our slumbers.
The Saraki's dynasty can't continued to be ruling us the way they want. we have to take our destinies in to our hands.
Mr Wale pls sir, I want to be part of the movement. pls, accept my frnd rqst on fbk and follow me back here on nairaland.

i am a Kwaran nd i am definitely not a fan of Saraki, bt all ur accusations dosnt make any sense, if u wanna win, use d unpaid staff salary, d slashing of local govt teachers monthly salaries nd still owing them, talk abt zero development in kwara nd d last b nt d least, d state produced d senate president nd yet in d federal University in his state, students pay sch fees equivalent to dat of a state or private owned University.
