Biafrans. do you even know what you want? I mean do you know what having your Biafra entails. You just have an idea that having Biafra would solve all your problems. Maybe yes, maybe no. But you're really just a victim of an idea posited by someone just like you but who had ulterior motives. Biafra would probably have benefited those who deviced the idea, but why die for another man's idea?
You claim you want freedom, which freedom is deprived of you as a Nigerian? you're FREE to reside and live a safe & secured life not just in the East but across the nation. FREE to run your businesses and earn a living anywhere across all 36 states of the country. FREE to run for public offices across all government levels. If that's not freedom, I wonder what is.
Do not let fiery words of Division/Separatism designed to only exploit your sentiments and frustrations be used to exacerbate inter tribal hatred.
Biafra or Nigeria, corruption and poor leadership are the common denominators we should be agitating against as only a country that has conquered these two can truly work.

Biafrans.
There's nothing wrong in declaring Biafra. If all are in support and agreement, that's the purpose of a Referendum.
But to resort to militancy and terrorism is unlawful and in fact criminal. To outrightly and remorselessly continue to slander your resident country and its President is tantamount to treason making you an enemy of the state.
I choose not to mention the unprintable, insulting, belittling and cringe-worthy names and mockery Kanu and his IPOB agitators have subjected every Nigerian, especially the President as it would not solve the problem but only further propagate a reactive hatred.
Kanu is not acting in the best interest of anyone. There's a process for emancipation and splitting, follow due process.
Fact is Everyone is fed up with this back and forth dragging us backwards, especially in this age where countries are thinking futuristic. Igbos want to go, by all means Go.
If Biafra is to be achieved, Kanu must submit himself to the court. Igbos must then present their case through a Referendum and in due time it will be accomplished.
Whether or not it's the constitutional power of the governors or the army to declare IPOB a Militant group is not the issue. One man's freedom fighter is always going to be another man's terrorist. Militancy/Terrorism is not until blood is shed.
Igbo leaders and governors have denounced Kanu's methodology. Though they stalled and emboldened him, I believe they know better than Kanu and the average igbo. They know to achieve Biafra is not through violence and militancy.

They will have to earn it, they cannot insult and harrass their way to it by provincial arguments.

That's up to the igbos. It's an election. Contest and win. If after winning, victory is denied that's when there's marginalization.
