The meaning is this.

Before jesus came to earth,he knew and agreed to the terms and conditions(problems) of bringing salvation to man.
i.e
Cruxifixion
shame and reproach
persecution
hunger etc.

Then when he finally landed on

earth,he had options to choose

between abandoning his real
missions and
implementing them.
Remember satan even promised him the vanity and perishable glory of the world in exchange of his primary missions on earth.

But thank God jesus did not fail on his agreement even though nobody could have questioned him if he had failed or disobeyed.

This is because He's one of the three that bear witness in heaven

So his obedience is the essence of
Hebrew 5:8.

God doesn't know how to obey in the begining.why?.The constituent of obedience was not in Him in the begining(He's God and there was nobody to obey to in the begining)
Since obedience is vital in His creation, one day He emptied Himself of His Divinity and became a man, created and establish obedience in the universe(philipains2:5-9).
Creation was actually completed on the cross of Calvary whe He said "it is finish" and not in Eden.

Kindly find below Matthew Henry's submission through his commentary on this. I believe this will help us understand the verse better
"2. The consequences of this discharge of his office, Heb 5:8, Heb 5:9, etc.

(1.) By these his sufferings he learned obedience, though he was a Son, Heb 5:8. Here observe, [1.] The privilege of Christ: He was a Son; the only-begotten of the Father. One would have thought this might have exempted him from suffering, but it did not. Let none then who are the children of God by adoption expect an absolute freedom from suffering. What Son is he whom the Father chasteneth not? [2.] Christ made improvement by his sufferings. By his passive obedience, he learned active obedience; that is, he practiced that great lesson, and made it appear that he was well and perfectly learned in it; though he never was disobedient, yet he never performed such an act of obedience as when he became obedient to death, even to the death of the cross. Here he has left us an example, that we should learn by all our afflictions a humble obedience to the will of God. We need affliction, to teach us submission."
