When a senator tweets this its quite sad but funny, for God sake you are the law maker here you make the law and ammend it as you please. When you lawmakers gave the maximum penalty for graft to be 7years.. with a good lawyer you get way less than that then why is he tweeting if he is serous let him raise a motion to ammed this section of the law promises or ask for, receives or obtains property or benefits of any kind for himself or any other person; or agrees or attempts to receive or obtain any property or benefit of any kind for himself or any other person; offers to give, confers, procure or attempt to procure any property or benefit of any kind to, on or for a public officer or any other person, on account of any such act, omission, favour or disfavour our to be done or shown by the public officer is guilty of an offence of official corruption and shall on conviction be liable to imprisonment for seven (7) years 1 Like |

 The tweeter senator again......hmmmmmm! How can Senator Bruce be asking Nigerians what is wrong with us when the answer is obvious. What is wrong with us are folks like him in the National Assembly and the presidency. Instead of them to be making laws that will protect and improve the life of the common man, they are busy chasing shadows and mocking our votes. Senator Bruce for instance is more of a fault finder than a problem solver. He wasn't voted for to be a fault finder but to fix the ailing system by making profitable laws that the masses can hope on. If an hair dresser has been sentenced to death for armed robbery at the expense of the pen robbers, it is because you Senator Bruce and your colleagues in the NASS have failed woefully in your collectively responsibility. The legal system has also been corrupted, compromised and suffocated. Justice they say is blind, but justice has a part in it called mercy. The Judge over that hairdresser's case though.........I reserve my comment! |
