But some car owners decided to take matters into their own hands by attempting to tackle the problem themselves with some very questionable DIY jobs.

I can relate to this, my hubby bashed my car, and broke my rear-turn-signal light. In order to conceal it up from me, he used one church sticker and another from his office to cover it. I didn't like it _but he said "leave am nah, e fine".

It was so conspicuous that it became like an ID. Everyone could identify my car on sight, people kept telling me where they saw me.

Went to a friend's place, their street was so bad, I had to park by the road. Someone saw the car on his way out/back (quite some hours). and told my hubby, "I see your wife car for so-so place". When I got home, hubby mentioned it. I jokingly said "people dey talk oh, if na my sugar-daddy house I go, naso im for tell you?"

I've had enough. So, I marched to the car the next morning to yank off the sticker, you can imagine my shock.

It might be another car, these type of things are common in badagry and ogun state na all dis rice, turkey, and vegetable oil smugglers dey do am pass, I guess you've not seen one fully loaded with over 30 bags of rice and they would be doing 100-150km.
