I came back from work today, to meet a bill of 48,000(Naira) plus. The worst part of this billing is that we have not had power for more than 2hours a day for the past 2/3 weeks.
Anybody who can help me with advice and suggestions please do not hesitate to do so. I need to lay this complaint at the appropriate quarters to see whatcan be done. All my bills this year has never exceeded 4k, so I don't understand this bill of 48k plus.

I no fit shout... I need to know the right step to take. Moreover, some of my neighbors don't even bother paying bills at all. They just give the guy that brings the bill 1k and that's it. But because I don't stay at home always and I don't want wahala, I pay my bills as at when due.

Went to their office this morning and the people I met all seem to be pushing me around. Afraid to handle my case.
They are claiming the bill is from my meter reading. For an area that doesn't have light, sometimes for. A week plus.

I cannot be paying the little I have and be getting this type of treatment and those who bribe NEPA officials every month will be having 0.00 Naira as their current charge. How on earth am I going to cope with 48k plus as current charge. When most times i don't even get to use the electricity.
