Mama Ogbo, Nuo Gboo

Now we feel the pains mourners felt
It thirsts bitter pills down the throat
That humanity never wished for.

Now that faith enveloped us with another necessary end
It covers like the nightmarish tent
That mortals unwish as shelter

Mama Ogbo on planet earth now a chapter read
Her humble showmanship nothing but a legacy
The love she taught now a token
Yawning for the earth’s emulation
Thirsting for generational extension

Mama Ogbo, my tear dries for your heavenly destination
But my body wails for the physical vacuum
Your niche never to be filled again
So painful a 13th January
An experience of unrivaled agony

Since your marathon age limit consoles
I will chant till the Igede of re-unification sounds-
“Ihoo! Ihoo!!”

it'll be nice if you can translate the title of the poem (which lingo is that sef? )

@dominique, I lost my iconic grandma, Mama Ogbo last two month.De only thing that now give me de much needed solace is poetry.Nuo gbo (a grand amechi awkunanaw dialect-firmly rooted in igbo language) is another way of saying "safe journey".
