How can you struggle to go to school..sit for waec,sit for jamb more than two three time,sit for post jamb again more then you start prayers and fasting for you to meet up with the required school cut off mark for your preferred course at the end still if you dont meet up the school gives you what they like to study now here it is...

Remember you didn't ask for it they gave you .you accept it studied,graduate with a 2.1,now serve for a year also have your MBA.Then what next.
You pick same certificate entering one office,companies to another,go for various interviews all they say is you not qualified even if you are they pay you peanut you work for them and they keep expanding while you keep decreasing or stagnant .

While the owner of the company himself never went to a university to get a degree let alone MBA.Almost all of the richest men out there never went to school the way we did for instance owner of GTB has just OND and yet he employed PhD holders and masters holder to work for him so what are we talking about.

You have a point but I wouldn't squarely blame on it on the certificate. I think we are also responsible to an extent. Pursuing any degree didn't stop us from looking at other means of livelihood. Our idea of success and our idea of what a certificate is ought to offer us were faulty.

Their were students who studied and had other means of income. They were rich students who didn't become wealthy through illicit means but pure hard work. And they combined it with the degree program. They had a good understanding of what wealth entails but we don't.

Some persons looked at them as confused and not too serious. They may have appeared so but they knew what they wanted, how to get it and they went for it. Most of us don't and still don't want to adjust. We knew what we wanted and placed all our hopes on an erroneous idea of the benefits of a certificate.
