The CEO FACE OF AI COMR. OBINI MARTINS OKORIE was excited when he was invited to witness the visit of His Queen, Miss Diaspora’s visit to the Motherless Babies home in Abakaliki.
According to him, he established the face of Ai to appreciate all the people and events that are making the city of Abakaliki great.
Abakaliki is no longer the back yard state that it used to be and this is as a result of frantic efforts of people and various establishments which according to him deserves appreciation for their contributions.
He added that he made sure prominence was placed on humanitarian works for the contestants of Miss Ai and barely a month after his competition one of his Queens invited him to witness such occasion.. He expects more from his queens as that will energize him to be relentless in future events. He also used the opportunity to call on other organizers of pageantry to ensure they crown people who are also beautiful at heart.
The visit of Miss Nwibo Nneka Christabel an undergraduate student of Ebonyi state University from Ebonyi Local Government Area of the State in the company of her friends received a warm welcome at the home despite the fact she did not come with a truck load of gifts for the children. Her passion for humanitarian work is unarguable as she unfolds her numerous projects targeted to help the physically challenged, less privileged and poor young orphans. She said she is using this opportunity to call out to the general public and other Royalties not to wait for festive occasions before visiting the needy as their daily needs cannot wait for festive periods.
According to her; they are our responsibilities.
Nobody is too poor to help; we can cut down on our phone calls, numbers of times we visit the saloon, and cut down our spending on ostentation that we may be able to provide for the needy.
She thanks her parents for support and for bringing her up to always want to show love and care.
Asides my status as a beauty queen, it is a calling; I understand the trauma of a young orphan and the challenges they go through. She said.
