You see,what people don't get about this hiv of a thing are these: Hiv can be contracted through sex( those having uprotected sex. Forget about her sexy eyes,curvy waist,soft voice,nice look, his height,wealth, his 6-packs and so on) don't rely on these for you do not know and cannot tell who has and who doesnt. Hiv doesn't last outside the body. It needs blood to survive,so the chances of getting it through other means are about 30% Avoid blood transfusion if not tested at a good hospital. When going for medical, make sure that the syringe used by the pharmacists/nurses/doctors is a new syringe and it's sealed. Avoid them using old syringe on you.( some people go to chemist and d chemist has only one syringe he uses for all patience and it's very bad) blood particles remains in the syringe and an infected blood with hiv could be transfered. Also sterilize your spoons, fork,knife and other cultleries by subjecting them to heat. An unsterilized sharp objects like scissors,knife,needle could survive hiv on it(mostly,those scrapping their nails by d abokis should beware) and for those babbing /shaving should make sure that the barber applies engine oil/lubricants / subjection the clipper to heat. And lastly, some people/persons made use of condom during sex but they don't know they can still contract that disease be it std/hiv. Case 1: a guy had sex with a lady,after the sex,he rolled out the condom with his bare hands and disposed it. He used that same hands to touch his dick which might probably have contact with condom containing fluid of the lady,through that process an infected lady could possibly have cumed on his laps which might /can make d guy liable to contact the disease. Hiv can be gotten through bleeding teeth during MouthAction/bj/bleeding dick. A lady was giving a guy BJ she didn't knw the guy had a bleeding dick/sore. There are chances of contracting hiv through that process. Best advise is abstinence or find a faithful partner and the use of cd should be considered also. ok according to the doctors, there are drugs that people with HIV can use and still live normal and live longer than people without HIV. If this is so, why all the noise about blah blah percentage of Africans having HIV? why not just stop the noise and sell your phucking drugs(which has always been the motive). HIV won't stop people from having sex. Na only africa all the nonsense disease dey come from. It was in the news sometime that a nigerian from the east found the cure to HIV, but the news was not given enough audience and publicity. The stats sound off to me... If Nigeria has such a low rate of people who go for testing it suggests that Nigerians generally would avoid testing, which the article itself points to. If that is true, then of those who go for testing, a high percentage probably were forced to do so because of health reasons. If that is the case, then the high prevalence of positive cases among the tested could be attributed to the fact that healthy Nigerian generally do not get tested so the results will inevitably be skewed. I'm so shocked at comments so far...it isn't hoax, it is real. The drugs are tracked thus easy to estimate users. General hospitals, registered hospitals and other accredited health center submit their data gathered from primary source. Naija has an estimated population. Wetin come remain to estimate affected people with inference to the total population? Wetin remain to estimate percentage of untested people using the sample of the population? AIDS is real, protect yourself the best you can. |
