The Catalan government today declared its independence as a Republic of Catalonia despite pressure from the Spanish government. The Catalan President voted today in favour of the declaration of independence Catalans has earlier on October 1 voted for independence, this was marred my crisis as the Spanish government moving to stop the referendum, however the voting went ahead to hold amid heavy police presence People took to the street of Barcelona today to celebrate the independence

Like nigeria, like spain....they don't believe in freedom...rather, they prefer to oppress innocent people for seeking freedom and independence and forcing them to stay in a country they no longer wish to belong in. |
