Spain can't force them back. Catalonia has a rich language, culture and history and her people has profoundly expressed their right to self determination, forcing them back into spain would amount to modern use of force, and forceful slavery against a people's wish. That would be unacceptable. The international body should please Recognise Catalonia's wish. 103 Likes 7 Shares |

Well, other than the fact that this would be a landmark feat and invariably influence agitation for Biafra's secession, the main thing that I'm sure everyone would be wondering is what happens to Football Club de Barcelona. #FingersCrossed 10 Likes |

Declaring independence isn't the problem but who will recognize them? The only way this independence will work is only if they will be all alone. EU have already said that they can't recognize them, UK is too scared to recognize them because They have Scotland at their backyard waiting patiently to strike. USA has done the same thing too. The only organisation and association that will recognize them easily is FIFA.Spain will fight tooth and nail not to allow them go easily. I just hope it won't result to a bloody conflict. 27 Likes |

FYI, The Biafra territory will start at ilorin and end at bakassi. Everyone who falls into this landmass will become a citizen of biafra. Kate henshaw's map is incomplete. Anyone, including oba lil wayne and tinubu, who tries to resist biafra rule once actualized will be prosecuted for treason and sentenced to their fate at the front of a firing squad. I have said it before, and i'll say it again. Anything after ilorin and before bakassi penisula is biafran territory. Anybody that complains after actualization will find himself facing a firing squad. Whether you're yoruba, anioma, owo, egba, efik, tiv idoma or igala. It doesn't matter. Soon and very soon, you will all be called biafrans. Anyone that can't bear this reality can go to H**l.When dance go enter clap, afonjas go hear wehn. 5 Likes |

Meanwhile, the Spanish Senate has approved article 155 to suspend home rule in Catalonia. The region's autonomy is hereby temporarily suspended. With media and police now fully under Spain's control, it's safe to say that Catalonia has lost the battle. She didn't even last for up to 30 minutes as a State. 20 Likes 2 Shares |

True or false as the news may be, Spain, EU, UN have all said any referendum on secession can never be accepted so those miscreants making noise here should be ready to go to Catalonia and fight for her against Spain 4 Likes |

chemicalDisease: Because the issue of separation is not just a problem for Spain. It far transcends Catalonia. The UK for instance, has had to deal with issues of secession from Northern Ireland, Wales, and now Scotland. Germany has her own with Bavaria. France has some struggles with Corsica and Brittany, while Flanders and Wallonia are threatening to pull Belgium apart. Italy nkor? She's facing or has faced same issues with Sicily, Lombardy, Veneto, and South Tyrol regions. Denmark has the same problems, as does Poland, Romania, Crotia and Czech Republic. The bureaucratic elites are all fighting the same struggles. So they understand where it pinches. Nothing brings two people together like a common struggle. They'd rather collude and deal with Catalonia than side with her. About an hour ago, Donald Tusk announced on twitter that Spain is the EU's only interlocutor. So, which of the parties do you think they'd support? 42 Likes 5 Shares |
