Why preaching at the Church's last service fro the month, at Ayobo, Lagos, Pastor Kmuyi made it clear to the memberrs and listeners that as God's blessings are always conditional, so is Salvation.

The Conditional Security of Believers in Christ.

John 8:31; 15:1-6.

All of God's dealings with man are conditional. He attaches definite Terms & Conditins to all of his promises. When you fulfill your own part; He fulfills His own part without fail.
It is wrong to believe that once you are saved, you are forever saved.
There is no eternal security for sinning Christians, members and ministers. There is no eternal favour for anyone who dies in sin.
Only those who endure till the end will be saved.

1.)The Declaration of Conditional Security by God:

Exodus 32:32,33; Joshua 24:20; Jeremiah 18:7-10.

There is no security for sinning church workers, pastors and bishops.
Yes God loves us -He actually loves everyone (John3:16), but He expects us to reciprocate the Love. Failure to do so implies rebellion, and will lead to hell. Jesus said only those who do His commandments love him. -And a sinner cannot do Christ's commandments, only those who are saved and abide can.
Just as there is no eternal indignation on repentant sinners; so is there no eternal security to sinning Christians.
As a Christian, be careful when those around you become so cold and carefree about their Christian life. Be careful when iniquity abounds. This I say so that you'll be careful not to relax your guards, thereby making a wreckage of your Faith.
God's standard is not same as that of men.
Institutions may lower their requirements to accommodate more applicants where there is a shortfall -But God doesn't and will never lower Heaven's requirements for anybody, even if 99% of the world population didn't meet the pass mark. God is no respecter of persons; "for them that honours Him will He honour, and they that despise Him shall be lightly esteemed before Him" (1 Samuel 2:30).
From Genesis to Revelation; it is made clear that all of God's dealings with humanity is conditional.

2) The Distortion of Continual Security by the Ungodly:

Isaiah 29:13,16; Jeremiah 23:9,14,21; 28:15-17; Lamentations 2:14.
Ungodly ministers turn the word of God upside-down to satisfy members with itchy ears.
These ministers say: God loves you and your sins; God loves you in your wickedness; God is too merciful to send anyone to hell. They turn the Truth into lies.
They distort, damage, destroy and misinterpret the scriptures to satisfy itchy ears and fill their own bellies. -The Lord promises His irrevocable wrath upon all such ministers.
These preachers make their hearers and followers to trust in lies. Ezekiel 13:22
Take a logic example:
If you have a coin, but it got lost along the line. -It is obvious you have lost the purchasing power it offers. But the coin itself maintains that value, and still offers the same purchasing power to whoever finds it. -So is eternal security; it can only be yours when you maintain your holiness. You can lose it if you are not careful.
Do not let any wool-coated, sweet-tongued, and soft-worded wolf to prey on you. -Run for your life. Run to the light. Run to the Truth.

Soft preachers are dishonest; they cannot preach the Truth because they live in falsehood.
An adulterer/fornicator cannot preach against immorality. So also a liar cannot defiantly preach against lying.
This distorted doctrine promotes habitual sinning and makes one vulnerable to temptations.

Have you ever pondered on why backsliders hardly ever return to the Faith?
This is because when they backslide, they go and find preachers who will tell them what soothes them, and who will allude to their false doctrines. -They adopt delusion.
The sad truth they never realize is; there is an extent to which if ones sins; he closes the door of salvation to himself.

3) The Doctrine of Continued Security for the Godly:

John 7:16,17; 15:1,2,4-6; Acts 13:43; 1 Timothy 4:15,16; Titus 1:9-11; 2:10-14.

Finally; the Doctrine of Jesus Christ admonishes thus; Abide and you shall be saved; continue in the Grace of God -Only then will your eternity be secured.
