Reno Omokri, an Aide to former president Goodlick Jonathan has reacted to the sacking of Secretary to the Federal (SGF) Babachir Lawal and and NIA boss Ade Oke by the president.

According to a statement by Omokri, the sacking of the duo was to divert Nigeria’s attention from the $25billion Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) scandal.

He also accused the APC led administration of being desperate to kill the largest financial scandal in our national history.

He said

“Be smart. The firing of Babachir and the appearance and disappearance of Maina must not distract us from the $25 billion NNPC Scam! This is the largest financial scandal in our national history and of course anyone will be desperate to kill it with carefully orchestrated and strategically released news stories.”

It was not a lie. He was Head of State, Governor, Minister, GOC etc, and he said he never ever "touched" a kobo under his care, he said he has only 1 bank a/c with Union bank. He challenged anyone, everyone with proof to present it or keep kwayet. All World leaders attest to that. These and so many more are all verifiable information, not dem say, dem say talk, hence it's not about selling lies. Now, to your point though, is Buhari fighting corruption the way he promised? absolutely not, is corruption ongoing under his long nose? emphatic YES. Will i vote him in 2019? no way. Lets be clear on the issues, Buhari himself is not corrupt, now he has a weakness, he trusts folks and put them in positions, now, these folks are corrupt and they are embezzling, its reported to Buhari and he is not addressing it.
