But all these would have been averted if the Nigerian army at the top had been doing the right thing from the onset.


If the punishment for any military official found wanting in maltreatment of any civilian was taken serious and enforced. Instead they help to shield the erring personnels which in turn made it a norm for them to enter the streets and treat civilians anyhow they want and then go scot free.
