Wizkid won the award for his outstanding performances throughout the year, with great and intercontinental collaborations the recording of Come Closer with Drake. Mavins record pop-star, Tiwa Savage win the 2017 Afrima Best female West African Act of the year. Also incontention were Yemi Alade, Aramide and Seyi Shay.
