Barring last minute change of mind, the Ebonyi State governor, Dave Umahi is set to join the APC. According to sources, Joining the APC was one of the conditions given to him by Presidency before Buhari agreed to make his state the first place to visit in southeast since 2015. Remember, Gov. South East Indigbo can't play the role of opposition it is not in their blood. First republic they went with the North Azikiwe became the ceremoonial president to Tafawa Balewa, second republic Alex Ekuewme becoome deputy to Sheu Shagari. Third republic though Obasanjo became president without the support of his tribe Yoruba Igbo was wiith PDP getting the senate president zoned to them and Secetary to the federal government. It is not in their blood that is how all south south and south east will fall in line to APC |
