By Sunday Silver His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State has approved the appointment of new Special Advisers. The Governor had on August 7th, 2017, sacked all his special Advisers but the Adviser on Religious Affairs, Bishop Winston Iwo, retained his position. According to the Governor’s Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, “His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State has approved the appointment of the following persons as Special Advisers: 1. Hon. Cyril Dum Wite 2. Barr. Chris Itamunoala 3. Dr. Barr. Shedrack A. Akolokwu 4. Prof. Israel Owate 5. Barr. Anugbum Onuoha 6. Prof. A. W. Obianime 7. Hon. Isaac C. Okemini 8. Barr. Okiri Aribitonye 9. Hon. Harvey Azuka Ideozu 10. Hon. Kenneth Iroanaya 11. Chief Nwuke Anucha 12. Dr. George Opuda 13. Pastor Mowan Etete 14. Mr. Ilami Arugu 15. Mrs. Toru Ofili 16. Barr.
