Today, people of Anambra will go to the poll to choose a new governor or return the incumbent Willie Obiano for second term.

But there is anxiety, following fresh threat by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB to stop the election.

The police have deployed 26, 000 operatives in Anambra, 300 Hilux Van but the residents are relunctant to storm the polling stations due to IPOB threat.

It was gathered that the commercial centre of Onitsha might be bombed, making the electorate to get scared.

Before now, the runaway leader of the IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu had threatened to stop the election but since his exit, it seems peace has returned to Anambra.
