Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe has finally given up after he tabled down his resignation letter, which he said it's voluntary, according to Reuters news Agency.



Mugabe made the announcement during a parliamentary hearing to impeach him and launches the nation into a new era of governance.

Zimbabweans have been thrown into great joy and jubilation following his resignation.

Just last week, Mugabe disagreed to resign after the military takeover and Zimbabweans thought his wife was behind it.

Mugabe has ruled Zimbabwe for over 30years. He started leading Zimbabweans since 1980.

I can imagine the relief in Zimbabwe not that Mugabe is gone. But I don't expect anything to change. Another of his type will be wheeled in and in a year, they'll probably be pining for good old Mugabe. Leadership in Africa is a tragedy.
