I got it!!!

Nothing feels quite as sweet as tracking a bird for the first time....for a newbie like myself.

This is my first stab at a C-Band signal. Altogether took me about 30mins to get it...

....quite thrilling when you see that signal go GREEN!

na wah oh i wasable to get aljazeera @58% (green) and irib tp was 60% and did not turn green, when i blind scaned, i couldnt get irib, dish is 1.3m location is owerri, imo state, plz wat more can i do to hit green? do u fink its fault of the lnb? i am tired of all dis qsat and dongle wahala, i need irib badly. heeeelllllpppp.....

Stop misleading people, Am enjoying Inter vs Roma on Varzesh now using SRT 4950H, The receiver accepts biss key.

pls house,i tracked irib varzesh and got 76 percent.can i use dual lnb that is,ku and c-band to get Eriteria tv2 since both of them are in the same degree.

I will advice you to go and get 1.8 meter dish and above and track aljazeera to 80% to get a good reception for irib.

FOR THOSE OF YOU FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO MAKE BISS KEY ON STRONG SRT 4950, SRT 4950H AND SRT 4950M, I STUMBLED UPON A POST IN ANOTHER FORUM, THAT HAS SOLUTION FOR THAT, SO LET'S GET STARTED....
On Strong 4950H receiver you get the SID code of biss coded channel in a different way.

Lets say we are looking for the SID code of IRIB VARZESH.

Select the coded channels which will be blank as it is scrambled>>>

On your remote select menu and go to CHANNEL MANAGER tab and select EDIT CHANNEL>>>>

Select the coded channel and note down the details displayed on the right>>>>>>

Details required include frequency, SR (symbolic rate) and SID code.
