It too the whole Nigeria states including Lagos 5 months to generate 800 billion as revenue from taxes and federal government need about 7 trillion naira for its budget. with this 800 billion in 5 months, how long will it take the federal government to get 7trillion knowing that they generate 800billion in 5months. And all these billions are generated from taxes gotten from goods imported into the country by the IBO's importers. And after selling the goods in Nigeria, they will need dollars to travel out and import more again. where are all the dollars they exchange with naira come? what else is bringing dollars into Nigeria that enable this importers to exchange the naira into dollars. If atal there was nothing that brought this dollar to Nigeria that they were able to exchange with the naira, would anybody in Nigeria be able to afford a highlander SUV?

Let compare the 800 billion generated in five month through taxes to the amount generated by oil in a month and let see the magic.
Nigeria export 2.1million barrel per day at the rate of 60 dollar , ie is 126 million dollar per day and this is equivalent to 45billion naira per day and within a month 1.53 trillion per month. which tax in Nigeria can generate this in 3 month? and even the money generated from the taxes are also indirectly gotten from oil. So everything in Nigeria depend on oil.

Oil is 95% of Federal Government income and 75% of expenditure.

Since the Niger deltans have started demanding their rights to control their oil resource, Nigerian internal colonizers have found it expedient to falsify the central importance of oil in Nigeria's budget. Infact, without oil Nigeria will simply cease to exist.
