What do you all think? Can a person remarry in a civil registry in another part of the country if their divorce from their absentee ex spouse has yet to become finalized but is still in progress, which is being handled by a family/probate court in Lagos?

Tanks to everyone who had commented since I posted dis thread, my registry took place yesterday d 28th of March at AMAC registry Abuja with just 15k with light refreshments, it was so fun, once again I'm grateful for all d ideas

I paid 58k plus drinks and such. We paid for express plus I had to pay the white guy tax. Port Harcourt

Ikoyi Registry= 33k (full payment made before the due date not earlier than three (3) weeks to the date.
3 passport photograph additional miscellaneous payment maybe like 4k(come with changes) sha for tips and for photographer.

Ikeja Registry = 12k additional miscellaneous payment maybe like 6k(come with changes) sha for tips and for photographer.
