El-Rufai gives excuses on inherited projects after signing 2018 N216Bn budget

The Kaduna State Government, Nasir El-Rufai, has disclosed that part of projects inherited by his administration had been completed but that others were still at various state of completion, the clarification of which followed his signing of 2018 N216,55 billion budget.

El-Rufai explained that the current administration after assuming office in 2015, look into the inherited projects and put those feasible and viable for the government’s purse on consideration.

Speaking during signing of the budget into law yesterday at state house, the governor stated that his office had looked into the inherited projects before commencing work on those completed and that of ones at various stages for completion.

“And we have been clearheaded enough to take on inherited projects that we consider feasible and viable! Some of these have been completed, but others are at various stages of completion”, El Rufai said.
