A closer look at the police man you will undetstand that he is a frustrated man, ready to pull the trigger because he was offered 100 naira( 28cents), maybe he was expecting 300 naira.so tell me how can this man fight crime as a police officer when he is hungry?

it's funny the way they demand bribes from motorists and the citizens at large, as though they ain't on the government's payroll, maybe we all should stop paying our respective (tax)es,then pay this f**ls their wages in the form of bribes, cuz as it is we are already paying double for a job they ain't even doing.....the way they approach you, their choice of words is sickening, just last month one was asking how I would be on a journey and I won't have money on me, as though it's a crime to travel with no cash, later he said I should make a transfer, for a tinted permit that is trailed with different controversies every year......they make the country harder on daily basis.

Pay policemen 200k minimum salary and watch graduates join the force. It is very simple. We are underpaying them and we expect them to overwork. Patience is not a virtue for a man with a starving family.

Scrap the NPF and start afresh with a State Police Force. Let each state be held accountable for the attitudes of their police force

Story.
They’re are greedy and joined the police with the wron motive of making quick cash.
Do you know there are graduates that earn lesser than the police and still make meaningful things with their lives ?
Going by your assertion, every Nigerian should resort to crime because they’re being underpaid?
Why can’t they resigned and to something more profitable if the NPF pay is not enough for them?
Btw, hope you’re aware that despite all their ill
Gotten bribes and extortion, their children are one of the worst taken care of? They smoke and drink more that. The average agbero ?
Their barracks are always filthy.

This corruption exists because the Government are not the true rulers. The Kings of Nigeria are the true rulers, and each every act of corruption by government officials towards Nigerian citizens is a defiance towards the traditional rulers. Its embarrassing really to the greatness of African civilization as being the light of the world centuries ago. Never would a just King extort his subjects and increase their poverty. A poor state, a poor kingdom is weak and fragile and ripe for invasion. cry Patriotism is the right word here. The Nigerian Police Force and Military need to learn patriotism. But patriotic to whom? The Kings and Queens of Africa.
