Hippos are tough, aggressive animals with huge teeth, killer bites, thick skin, a nasty attitude, and are the animal responsible for the most human deaths every year. They are approximately the same size as Rhinos and from the videos I’ve seen when the 2 fight, it’s usually pretty even. But the mighty Hippo better not mess with a full grown Elephant cuz they will get their Hungry Hungry Hippo’s fat ass kicked ! A large Hippo could weigh over 3000 lbs (1400Kg) , but a full grown African Bush Elephant could weigh between 7000 and 12000 lbs (3300 to 5400Kg), can grapple with its trunk and can stab with its tusks. Here is an unwise Hippo who decided to start a fight with an Elephant! *Quora.com*
