If you can’t do little things in life, then you have disqualified yourself from becoming great. Small opportunities are often the beginning of great enterprises. History is filled with story of men and women who started small and eventually ended big. Many great corporations begin in stores, toilets, home libraries, inside cars, even by the road sides. However, MANY ARE SCARED TO BEGIN SMALL, THAT IS WHY THEY DON’T GET THEIR DREAMS OFF THE GROUND.

No matter how big your dream is, be bold to start small. The journey of a thousand miles starts with a step; little drops of water forms the mighty ocean. The story you are about to read is about a woman who believes in starting small. Every time I’m passing through the front of her outlets, I always remember her story of small beginning.

After working in an oil servicing firm, she decided to quit because she felt she need to spend more time with her children (one of the benefits of being self employed). Her determination to put her home first landed her in another face of her exploits in life. She started small by baking behind the door, transporting and marketing her product with her small car, and supplying cake to different outlets, individuals and groups. These she did for eight good years before she set up her first outlet. With 25 square metre space, two fairly used air conditioners and few disjointed equipments, she was on her way to give the city of Lagos – Nigeria one of the best eateries.

KEHINDE KAMSON, a graduate of accounting from the University of Lagos has proved to the doubter that everything that starts small can always grow big if we give it time.

Hear what she says: “I believe that no matter what, you can start from anywhere and grow to become big”. No matter how small what you are doing presently may be, keep at it, it will one day grow to become big if given the opportunity to do so. Those who are afraid of starting with the little resources they have will never achieve anything big in life.

Today, her company SWEET SENSATION is noted as one of the fastest growing eateries in town. The company received the highly coveted century international quality Era Award in far Geneva, Switzerland, you too can also create wealth in Nigeria.
