The nationwide scarcity of petrol in the country is really hitting hard on the citizens.

Motorists today queued up at AYM Shafa filling station opposite the Food Basket Roundabout at Wurukum Market to get petrol even though they are not sure the petrol available can serve them all.

A black marketer reliably told Lasgidi Online that, she got her petrol at Aliade, a town about 55 kilometers away from Makurdi. A litre of petrol is being sold for #300 in the black market.

Residents of Makurdi are calling on the government and the authorities in charge to come to their aid.

I bought fuel last week at the filling station here in Makurdi at 165 per litre. DPR in Benue is just a waste of space

We claim to be christains celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, yet in this season we hoard and hike the price of our commodities. What then is the love of Christ birth that we are celebrating??

I usually dont have have pity for benue people because despite being one of the states that has suffered the misrule of Buhari the most they will still give him 50 percent of their votes come 2019 because of thier political shallowness and cowardice

Benue state is always worst hit by fuel scarcity despite the numerous filling stations

the DPR in makurdi is most corrupt and useless.. because owners of these filling stations bribe them heavily that's y you don't see them sealing off, or sanctioning any filling station

I ran into a filling station yesterday and checked their price N180.

I said Okay and left.
